I would like to think that you should always try to get the highest seeding possible. I know they haven't played great at home and that the 3rd seed will be from the Southeast and therefore a bit weaker but, if they go into the playoffs with confidence and firing on all cylinders I think that will be more important. Besides I think the Flyers can beat the Pens or Devils.

This team can't beat the better teams in the confrence rags, boston, and maybe a healthy pens team. I am cool if they just make a small move as long as they don't give up a ton. No reason to be giving up thses good young guys for someone who really won't help all that much. To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing them sell off a few players to clear cap space and add more young guys and or picks.

The Flyers have lost the division with 26 games to go? That's over 25% of the season left. I agree that their chances aren't great, but let's not give up yet lol...lots of hockey left.

"The Rangers have won the East."

Glad to see you're so optimistic.
