I will happily celebrate "Pegula Day" once Pegula comes to his senses and fires our laughingstock of a GM. |

Maybe Darcy should consider adding a piece at the dead line instead of shipping a couple out, just a thought and my opinion. |

Did anyone hear the Paul Hamilton segment on WGR at 5 yesterday. He sounded extremely frustrated when the talk turned to Darcy. He mentioned that most people who evaluate the Sabres can see their glaring weaknesses, but when you ask Darcy about them he will TOTALLY DISAGREE with those evaluations and that Darcy likes the makeup of this team. He also said that Sawyer and Benson, both agree with the way Darcy is handling the makeup of the team and are supportive of Darcy as GM.
This is just another case of Larry Quinn syndrome and a further commitment to mediocrity! All of would like the organization to make changes that will have an impact on the product. But once again it will be a very quiet day here on Monday. Trade after trade will take place around the league while the Sabres sit on the sidelines watching. Tampa Bay, a team with more talent than the Sabres, have recognized that the opportunity to make the playoffs in 2012 is slim and have now begun to build for the future. My frustration grows with every passing trade and with every comment from Sabres Brass. What is it going to take for Mr. Pegula to realize that the greatest flimflam artist in history is running his Hockey Club. He needs to take off his rose colored glasses and see that the GM of this organization is wasting his money, wasting our time and our money by putting a flawed product on the ice. We would all hope that by missing the playoffs, Terry would see that. But upper management has bought into the flawed logic, that injuries have effected the product put forth. Yes, to some extent it has, but other organizations manage to win despite their injuries (Pittsburgh comes to mind). What Mr. Pegula needs to evaluate is the past performance and years of mediocrity we have suffered with this GM. Personally my frustration is not with the players, but with the individual who assembled the current cast of characters. Something needs to change and its not the locker-room, the game broadcast or the number of people working the stands. The product on the ice needs to change and that change needs to start at the top.

Ott has two more years at $2.95 million per season left on his contract, with a “no-trade” clause.
Per Spector, Ott might be on the block. |

The guys to trade are easy..
1. Goose
2. Roy
3. Leopold
If Im Darcy..I got to Detroit, Chicago, St Louis and Vancouver and tell them...Roy is in play...
I truly think he is enough to change the balance in the west. |
