I don't always agree with you, Tim, but I completely agree here. Briere is shooting it straight while being very positive. He is a tremendous leader in general, not just sports. The small glimpses we do see of his actions, show that he understands what it takes to be a good man.

BS I think briere's comments are out of line. They should be kept behind closed doors. ISn't that what they want Bryz to do? Also you hear Bryz shouldn't be making goofy comments like he has when not playing well. Briere stunk all year. He hasn't had a solid line all year? Give me a brake they tried everything to get him going. Maybe he should stop bringing the line down. Just about everytime briere is on the ice he is useless. He is the 6.5mill man cap wise SHOW UP! Main thing I hate about this city is some players can do no wrong. While a young JVR who and injuries all year people want him gone. Yes playoffs are great buy briere but the regular season means something as far as seeding. He wasn't that good in the second half last year either. Another three years of him no thanks.

We need Danny boy and Bryz to be money in the playoffs.

Hasn't had a solid line to play on all year? He's been playing most of the year with Read, one of the leaders in rookie scoring and has had either Simmonds or Voracek on the other wing all year. Both who are having very solid seasons.

Briere has been a flat out BUST this year and hasn't come close to living up to that cap hit.

Maybe he should look at his own game before criticizing Bryzgalov's.
