Good Game Boys. Hedberg really was a difference maker. Made some great saves. Your d as well, taking care we couldnt reach any rebounds. Well played. See you again shortly! |

only real criticism of hedberg is the plethora of juicy rebounds he gives up. however, your D do a really good job of either clearing them, or not letting the opponents get to them. all around though, he's a very solid backup, and probably better than a good number of starters in the league. |

well, you're team is gonna suck, but just think of the amount of hot women at games just to watch your 2 pretty-boy qb's. |

Looking at all the free agent goalies out there I wouldn't mind resigning Marty and Moose. They have proven themselves this year and other free agent goalies are just not impressing me at all. Emery is not doing well at all, Harding cant stay healthy, and Gustavsson is the only one at the moment I would consider signing. I would just be afraid of a season like Tampa Bay is having with Roloson. Roloson was solid last year and this year just isnt the same guy. |

i too am afraid of what happened in Tampa. BUT, if we have an issue.. i doubt it will be with both goaltenders, and one of them will be able to start 50+ games. And if they both fail, then we can make a trade.. or maybe Kinkaid, Frazee, Wedgewood would be able to step up. I think that would be rushing them, but I don't think we'd have the issue to begin with.
A lot of the decision will rely on Hedberg and if he wants to play another year or retire to be with his family. He's been outstanding this season. Marty has his game back too. But theres that lingering uneasiness about these 2 older goalies both turning into swiss cheese |

If Henrique continues to struggle, I would not be surprised to see Zajac be the #1 center shortly after his return. Moose was great. I would hope he would get one or two more starts before the season is over. |

I know. Just for safety I feel we should only resign one of them. I like moose a lot but he's not getting any younger along with marty. I would really like to see what Frazee or Kinkaid could do. Just to give them a shot you know see what they have. |

i doubt brodeur plays all 8-9 games remaining, moose will get at least 1 start, and depending on standings he may get game 82 |

IMO, put Henrique on the second line.
Limit his minutes, it's obvious the toll of the season is hitting him right now, and he's just slumping because of it. Take him off the PP and put Josefson there.
It seems like whenever Zubrus-Henrique-Sykora is out and a PP ends, they always have sustained offensive pressure. That line works for some reason, so why not try it out and take some responsibility off of Henrique and move Elias up. |

I don't see Henrique getting as much production out of Zubrus and Sykora as Elias does. I wouldn't be thrilled with that line, not sure they would be effective. Josefson shouldn't be getting PP time, he hasn't scored a single goal this year. Zajac should get PP time when hes back, and push Josefson down the depth chart. |

Whether you don't think so or not, that line continually gets sustained offensive pressure after a PP, and that line just works. It doesn't seem reasonable, but they all cycle well, I am open to giving it a shot, give Henrique two or three minutes a night less can go a long way. |

its so simple and harmless that it just might work. i wish we could try these in real life. one thing about DeBoer, he doesn't do much line shuffling during games. Lemaire was over the top sometimes, but DeBoer should try some stuff when we're not scoring.. and when the top line goes 5 games without an even strength point |

When we get healthy we need to seriously separate that top line. Parise has been struggling lately. No points in last 5 and 1 goal in last 10. Henrique has been struggling a lot too. I just don't think Parise and Kovalchuk should be on the same line. |

Maybe for a little bit, but that line has worked for 3/4 of the season. I think we are a little fatigued and a combo switch could spark our players again. But that first line has given us a legit first line all season, and elias provides plenty of secondary scoring and Clarkson is on the third. I don't think we should make so many rash decisions at this stage. Our lines have been good for most of the year, and even though we are not playing well, we are still 6-4-0 in our last ten. We are not on a huge slide and we've still found ways to win. |

Im 50/50 on the line shuffle... Our first line has done well all season but at the same time kovi and zajac last year were dangerous with a scrub like palmeri on the wing |

id say move henrique of the 1st line (play him there periodically) as he is totally gassed IMO the season has drained him, same with larsson
but nothing too drastic, i guess just switch zajac and henrique on the 3rd line from time to time, till zajac is healthy and back in the swing of things and when henrique is rejuvenated |
