I don't like the Bruins and McQuaid. But, there has to be a suspension... Damn, when will we take a look at those charging ? If Chimera reduces his speed at the end, take McQuaid by the side instead of behind, separates him from the puck : that would have been a superb play.

I'm convinced that the speed the players take before a hit is one of the most important aspect of concussions, and the charging penalty is barely suspendable (from the NHL point of view, as far as I see it).

That's bad.

I find him really arrogant (and I always hated Patrick Roy by the way), always see his cheaps shots, etc. And you know what ? He's a Bruins

I still liked Steve Bégin when he was wearing your jersey, also did I with Ryder, Savard, etc. But not McQuaid, sorry

Maybe you should ask the rest as the Bruins as they just stood around and did nothing to defend their teammate after that dirty hit.

I agree but you just opened a can of worms. You know someone's going to bring up Miller because that's the only comeback

funny, never thought of him as arrogant, and never liked Ryder even when he was here.

That hit though, I gotta think McQuiad shares a little blame, I hate when players turn their back at the last second but I'm not sure he new Chimera was coming.

It's probably that evil grin he gets when he knows someone is stupid enough to go with him.

It says a lot about Bruins fans that they aren't calling for Chimera's head after that hit. It clearly wasn't a dirty hit. He was penalized for it, as he should have been, and that's that. Had this penalty happened against the Sabres, you know there'd be some dirty diapers.

If McQuaid doesnt turn at the last second thats just a hard hit shoulder to shoulder, but he turns toward the boards and puts himself in that position.

I agree for the most part, but he turned to play the puck back, not just turning to draw the penalty.

The call was right. It was a charge. Quaider didnt do himself any favors. He will go with Chimera next time they play and thats enough justice for me.

His masks are usually pretty sweet but his pads always leave something to be desired.

like I said to somebody else, I'm surprised he wasted the money on new pads, I don't see him staying with the Bruins next year.
