bench luongo for a game to give the team a spark
(not blaming luongo for the hole they are in) - homiedclown
I think were gonna see that. For some reason the team plays better in front of Schneider. |

I couldn't hear the crowd last game at the bar I was at, but how was it by the way? |

The crowd? Not good. Booing after a few icing and very quiet IMO. Wouldn't suprise me if the LA crowd (canucks fans)does a better job of cheering for Vancouver then the Vancouver crowd.
Better step up in game 5 Vancouver. And that message is for the fans NOT the team |

Shouldn't the team step it up BEFORE game 5 so the fans have an oppurtunity to do so? |

After watching three of the other series games last night, I'm wondering where the playoff intensity is in this series? A lot of passion in the Ottawa/NYR series, same with St. Louis/San Jose and even Phoenix/Chicago. Watching the first two games of LA vs Vancouver has just not been the same IMO.
Tonight it's time to put up or shut up! Going down 3-0 means the series is OVER...for all intents and purposes.
Why is Ebbett in the top six? Anytime that's the case you're in trouble already! Kassian should be playing up there not Ebbett. |

If this team is gone in the first round what are the chances we see some core tinkering?
Schneider and Kesler
for
2nd overall, Ryan Johansen and Jon Moore.
or
Luongo
to Tampa for
Connolly, 10th overall and Detroits first.

You can get a lot more for Kesler and Schneider, you'd probably get that for schneider alone

That'd be pimpn, I love that Connolly kid. He actually has a give-a-sh*t meter, and would be captain of this team in 3 or 4 years. |

Uh..no. If Halak got what he got, there is no way Schneider grabs Johansen+, let alone the 2nd overall itself.
You're crazy. |

I STILL say Burke made a huge mistake leaving Oshie and Byfuglien off the 2010 U.S. Olympic team.
Canada beat the U.S. down low. Might have been a different outcome. But Burke's a genius. |

Don't panic. That would be a huge steal for Columbus.

schneider has to go in just to shake things up even though it's been luongo giving them a chance.
i actually agree with all you have suggested this time around with the lineups and kassian. also kesler ready to take over. everyone says i'm nuts, but schneider in, 4 straight after cleaning up their special teams. |

Sorry got to disagree on Carkner. Pinned down on the ice, with Carkner throwing at least 5 punches to a player not defending himself = intent to injure. Sure seems worthy of a suspension to me. |

I think Kassian is better suited to play with Pahlsson. Ebbett is also a better scorer than Kassian and I see him as a better fit with Hank because of his experience. The guy had 5 goals in 18 games. that's like a 20-25 goal pace. |

In the short term definitely but I'm one of the few that doesn't see Kesler having a long career. He's extremely hard on his body and he has yet to recover from his hip problem last playoffs. I see Ryan Murray becoming a number one defenseman and one of the best defeneseman in the NHL at some point. I love his game. If the Oilers take him than the Canucks take Yakupov. Also Moore is becoming the player people thought he would and Gillis wanted him over Schroeder but Columbus scooped him right before. Also Johanasen is a very good player and will become a true number one centerman. I'd do this if the Canucks show no heart this series. If they come back and go deep in the playoffs, than I'd just keep rolling with the core. |
