Now that all the idiots have put their brooms away, and the damned paper isn't running high school level photoshops as "clever" and "funny" headlines, maybe we can see our team go out and just play a game and forget the nonsense.
most times when a team gets blown out they come back the next game and play their hearts out. If you look at the flyers interviews from the last game they were clearly disappointed in them selves for blowing the opportunity to end this series. I think the flyers will come out hard and fast, a couple good hard clean checks along the boards and get Coots under Malkins skin again. and the game could be ours

As was said previously, when a team is down 3-0 and wins game 4, many times they are spent from the effort and go quietly in game 5. Since the Penguins expelled little or no effort in game 4, I don't see this as being a factor and am seriously worried.
All of the sudden I see this series going 7, and I don't like seeing that at all.
A combination of a dirty shoulder or elbow to the head by Evgeni Malkin in the first period and a big high suspension-worthy hit by Tyler Kennedy in the second period forced the big Swede out of the game.
Let's Go Flyers! Finish off these dirty f'n Pens today!

If Bryz plays better, Flyers take Game 5.
And the Flyers need to take every opportunity to lay real big hits on Crosby and Letang. It's time we paid the Pens back for trying to take out our players (and succeeding), only we'll do it legally.

One game at a time. The Flyers need to play a smart hockey game. Stay out of the box and whether the storm early. Take some responsibility defensively and everything will be just fine. I really like our chances tonight if the Flyers play discipline hockey.

Yeah, cause any of that had anything to do with that epic collapse...

The Flyers sure played game 4 like all they had to do was show up...pretty much all they did in the 2nd period was cast shadows and sweep the puck out of their net.
Seems like somebody believed the press that the Pens would go meekly into the night.

You're on the Isle of Negativity here, MB. Might as well jump...

The Flyers just got out played last game, that simple. Pens are a very good team theres no one who expected the Flyers to sweep coming into the series (most dont even have them winning). However its just one game. Have to be better tonight.

The Flyers won the first 3 games. They put up back to back 8 spots in games 2 and 3. They have bounced back from bad games time and again. No worries. Remember, the Flyers expended less energy than the Pens did in game 4.

Could be. I think the bad play exhibited throughout the series finally caught up with them, and all those penalties to start the 2nd sealed the deal.
Either way, as Bryz goes so does this team...no weak crap allowed!

If the Flyers are to win tonight it will have to be the best team effort game all year. Bryz can't even practice because of his foot, and three of the bottom 6 are Lilja Kubina and Gusty. That is scary.
With that said... This team certainly has it in them. Try naming a more resilient team off the top of your head. Played just about all year with out the captain and #1 dman, most of it without JvR and have had multiple times where other leaders were downed. I have full confidence in this team!

Losing Grossmann hurts because of how well he has played. I think Gus will be okay tonight because he can skate. What worries me about Carle and Gus is their size and lack of strength down low. Still think the Flyers will be just fine.

So is it confirmed that Grossmann is out for tonight?
