You can follow any player shift by shift and make him look bad based on personal bias. If you did the same thing with Claude Giroux on his 6-point night and put a negative spin on everything he did that didn't result in a goal, he'd look awful in that game too. But it was one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen.
I'm not defending Kovy. He played poorly. But the clearly biased reporting of his shifts is just awful journalism. |

He is clearly not the same player he was before the injury issue.
I bet if he wasn't playing because of his injury, you would probably find a way to dig at him for not gutting it out and playing through an injury. |
