Hank has a right to be frustrated, he has been the best goalie in the NHL over the last 5 years and his team can't score for beans. I feel bad for him, and am surprised he has not lashed out more often.

Up to a point, but if a leader of the team, you can't make comments like that to the media, as angry and frustrated as you my be

I really hope they don't lose, cause it wouldn't surprise me if Hank goes a little crazy. He wants it so bad. Especially since there is no dominant team left out of the 5. He knows this could be his best chance. If Torts doesn't shake up the lines he might have to will his team to victory with a shutout. If anyone can do it, Hank can

Its really frustrating because everything has fallen into place this year for the Rangers to win.

But...

Based on the Rangers' lack of playoff scoring and their 0-5 record when leading a series makes it seem like they are not ready.

You cannot win the Cup if you go to 7 games every time, we need to be able to win when leading, step on another team's throat. I don't think the problem is talent, I think we are young and inexperienced.

They may win it all, but its going to be a huge struggle because of inexperience.

Hey, if it was easy it wouldn't be Rangers hockey.

Lundqvist says Rangers didn't have enough early. Also wonders how Ovechkin was left open in the slot on the first PP. (implication being someone failed to do their job)

Tortorella would have said the same thing, if he talked to the media for more than 5 seconds. To me, this doesn't seem like he is calling out the team, just analyzing.

I guess you can interpret in different ways, but to me its not such a big deal.

The thing is, I believe it will be a lot easier in the next few years.

Good luck guys. Both teams are going to need it with the Russian roulette of officiating we have seen this year and in game 7's.

Here is to the players deciding who goes through.

Good read Jan. Who was arguing hank wasn't an elite goalie? Hard to take a team to the finals when you don't have much goal support. Also, he often blames himself if he has a subpar game. That being said, i think he was wrong pointing the finger on the first goal. I didn't care for his postgame remarks about thinking they lost after game 5 either. I love the guy and he is probably the greatest goalie in franchise history, ill give him a pass

Anybody else sick and tired of Torts and his spoiled cry baby attitude? What a terrible face for the NHL.

My tools aren't working at the moment. But please read the definition of troll and don't be one. I see you again when I have my superpowers and you'll be gone for a stretch.

EDIT: Force fields back up.

Gaborik needs to step up that's all I have to say. The guy was horrible from my point of view last game. I would have benched him in the 3rd period if I was Torts.

Everyone was horrible yesterday. Cally needs to step it up actually. Never thought I'd say that but he looks off his game this series.

Coming on a Ranger thread with this probably isn't the best idea.

Ousted in the playoffs again? Ahh I knew you'd be surprised!

This is it.

Hank kept them in it like he has done so much...

Not elite my ass.

This team scores 3 goals and they win.

They don't, and you might as well spin a (frank)ing wheel.

3 is all Hank needs...
