I saw that one coming.

I love Shane Doan. I love that throughout the line, stopped several times to say things to guys, and I love that he didn't let Brown off the hook. Even though he was mad, he still shook his hand but told him what he felt about the hit.

Take away all the BS and the nonsense and that was the exact game I thought it would be.... excellent game from the Yotes. I believe the kings were outplayed and if richards didn't pot that rebound I would be killing him for making backhand passes through the middle like he was trying to keep a purse on his arm...

great last 2 games, i wish it would have ended with less controversy bit still happy at the end of the day

I noticed that fan who sits behind the Coyote bench, last night!

The only thing PHO has to be upset about is the lack of (frank)ing ticket sales. This team wasn't suppose to make the playoffs let alone be in the Conference finals.

Just hope that when new ownership takes over that they don't go all (frank)ing crazy like Pegula in Buffalo. Stay the course and continue to let Mahoney and Tippet do their magic.

How could not noticed?

Hated to see you guys bow out in the Finals...was begrudgingly pulling for y'all since you knocked us out. Hope things get settled with a solid ownership and you start selling some tickets. I still think it was stupid to move the Coyotes to the Arena in Glendale...it's just too far out of the city. For football games once a week that's fine, but for hockey games occuring at most 3-4 times a week, those are some late nights getting back to Phoenix.

Not sure you have to worry about signing Shane Doan...he'll retire as a Coyote and probably take a discount so that the team can get better personnel.

Frenchie do you think Doan stays?

As a Blackhawks fan I wasn't exactly rooting for you guys against LA given that your player took out one of our stars, but that was a GREAT BLOG. Classy, respectful, minus excuses, good solid hockey analysis. Very un-Vancouver like.

Almost makes me wish you guys had won.

You should find yourself a life.

Being a Kings fan, I'm obviously glad this series ended quickly.

That said, if we had 7 games like last night, it would have been great hockey..

I've got to giive credit to the Yotes for showing their heart and playing with passion when they lost game 3.

Smith needs to calm down a bit, as does Doughty.

I heard smith thinks Brown deserves to be kicked out of the league if Torres got 25, stop whining, sore loser you could only save a game for your team and you're known to be a vezina deserving goalie, he just whines. As for the rest of the coyotes, Good Playoff Series, Loved every minute of Periods 3 to the end of OT all excitement, thanks for a great series Yotes, As for Shane Doan, Cheer up bud, I wanna see him raise the cup after I saw the emotions after the game.

I just read that on Yahoo about Smith's comments. He needs to relax. I'm sorry but he is off. The Brown hit was as the whistle blew, knee to knee yes but nothing like the Torres hit in impact and intent. The comments about officiating made me laugh since he had all the calls his way in the Chicago series like too many men on ice when goal scored and a hit on Toews that not only got Toews a penalty but Phoeniz scored on that power play. He has been outstanding in his play this year but the guy is far from respectable.
