Thanks for the blog Ben, Cpt read it twice.
I think if Bellows comes here and struggles or isn’t adjusting to the NHL game, Lou and Trotz have shown they will not keep throwing prospects out there to fail. As with Otto, Wahlstrom and Aho, if they come here and aren’t ready they won’t keep them here.
I hope JHS gets another shot to turn it around this year. He’s so talented. |

Agreed, call him up now while there’s still time to save our season. |

It actually angers me that he’s with Bridgeport. I was hoping he would be in the KHL by now or someplace worse😂 |

Wouldn't it be just as wise to bring up Ho Sang and either let him prove himself to Trotz or to another team? Let him showcase his "talents" or he can shut up for the rest of the season and let him walk.

We are now 5th in the metro and hold the 2nd wildcard. Granted, most teams have 2 or 3 games played on us but we better get our poop together or we’ll be doing nothing at the deadline, but selling. All those games lost to sub playoff teams has caught up. |

Every game could be the beginning of this team turning it around. Hopefully tonight is the night. Stars played last night but they’ll have Bishop in net. I’m assuming Varlamov will be in net tonight hopefully he has a good game. |

Every game could also be the game where the roof caves in on the arena, tragically killing everyone inside |

When Chief reads Staple's article in the Athletic today he may have a heart attack. |

Yeah there is that potential. That’s exactly why I’m not going to the game. |

The LIRR makes it soooooo easy though..
I mean if you take your kid to the game you can run to get on a train, go in the only doors open and walk for a mile through a million drunk idiots in each Car until you finally find a seat or a cart not absurdly crowded.
Then you get to hang out in lovely Jamaica on a mobbed platform waiting for whatever train. You have a better than 50% chance of one or both trains being delayed b/c they are using the same switches since 1950....
If you have the added bonus of it being the same night as a Ranger home game it's even more fun at Jamaica.
or u can stay home and watch it on TV |

Staple had a good article this morning, talking about how for the remainder of this year the Isles actually have a ton of cap space and wondering if they don't maybe try to take a bad expiring contract away from a team that needs some cap space and pick up some extra assets in the process that he can flip for something else at the deadline. He mentioned TOR/VGK/STL/ARI for various reasons. |

You really seem to have difficulty differentiating between cap space now and cap space after we have to sign several high-end players |

You could also just drive. It's equally as terrible but you can at least sit in your own vehicle without 4000 dipshi ts screaming 'yes yes yes' in your ear and listen to whatever music you want. |

I really hope Bellows gets to play today. His Dad works with a buddy of mine and was waiting to hop on a plane today from Minn if he is going to play. |

I've done that and it's much better.. but driving through that area with my kids late at night is a bit scary. |

He's talking about adding a few guys with a few years left on their contract. I assumed you would not be ok wtih that move. |
