As much as Flyer's fans want Frost now, he is better getting playing time there. He'll get his chance to stick, this September.
Remember, not easy for 21 yr olds to be impact NHL players.

First off, trading Braun would be asinine as would be trading Ghost. The Flyers are hopefully going to be a playoff team and they aren’t at all deep in D past their top 7.

2nd, I’m not ready to close the book on Frost for this season. He played well for the Phantoms last night and if he plays well for the next few weeks, he could be a nice depth piece heading into the playoffs. With that in mind, I’d like to see him get some time on the wing. If Patrick is back next season, Frost will likely be playin on the wing so let’s get him comfortable there.

Re adding at the deadline: cap room is limited, so unless you can pick up an upgrade at 4C on the cheap, sit back and go with what you got.

Finally if Patrick gets cleared soon and can make it safely through a few games at LHV, there is your upgrade at 4C. He can also get some pp time, and if all goes well, perhaps he can slide up and be the 3C for the last couple weeks of the season and into the playoffs.

I wish Brayden Coburn was a tough guy when we had him. All I saw last night was flyers getting pushed around after the whistle. I’m not pining for a reincarnation of Shultz. What I’m hoping Fletcher does is get a guy or two who can play and get in Hedman’s or Coburn's face. It will go along way. Let these guys know they will get off the ice for 5 minutes. I would go after Miles Wood, cause I’ll never get Tom Wilson.

Yes we need a guy that sucks defensively in the playoffs

While I prefer to keep Braun and Ghost if there is a good hockey trade you make the flyers better I’ll take it. I don’t think that is out there but someone like the Panthers might be a good trade partner, they are underachieving and might want to make a momentum move, they also have the talent to make a good trade partner

I would offer a package of Ghost + pick for Trocheck and then look for a serviceable spart part depth dman at the deadline

Why would a team in a WildCard position trade a Dman that has helped them get to where they are especially in the mist of a battle for that spot they currently hold?
