The Blues are going to be aggressive, at least I know teams have called the Blues expecting them to be aggressive...and yet so far they are pretty much standing pat. Some would say that Trouba was already their big move for the year.. Every rumor that is out there involving St. Louis is coming from the other side so far...This is a tell tale sign of a team that people expect to want to make a move but isn't going to...yet.

Also, FYI, Trouba plays for the Rangers, not the Blues.

It's getting so hot. Tampa raised the temperature. Bedlam is upon us. A young David Poile is running around the Spectrum in 1966. Bruins loading up at the deadline? The Leafs are not OK with this. They're giving Marner a hard July 31st Deadline to make up his mind.

Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews are being traded for Drew Doughty. Malkin wants to be The Man. Ovechkin is being traded to Nashville. There's so much going on. Pageau is in high demand. 28 teams are interested. 30 teams want Kreider.

Look for the Habs to trade Kovalchuk for 2 first round picks. Shea Weber's career was over last week. But he amazingly has made an astounding recovery and might even play this week. Athanasiou to Colorado is Imminent, very close or not close at all. Yzerman and Sakic must notify the league office and talk with league sources late tonight.

Great move by Armstrong. He traded for Trouba and no one even knew about it. Including the Rangers.

The Avs definitely need a true #1 goalie, but Miller isn't it. The Avs could afford to absorb the ridiculous Price contract, but I don't see MTL trading Price if they could. (Price has a NTC I believe)
