Still think you have to do what you were going to do regardless. We have young guys that are already ready and taking on bigger roles. Kreider would be difficult to replace, but the way he is performing I'm almost positive you could get a roster player or really good young player that you could play in the lineup for him. Wouldn't be a bad time to try Buch at LW too. Buch-Chytil-Kakko as a line could be nuts.

No Way ! wing short NYr isnt selling off the homegrown talent Krieds who is flying longer & better than ever , same goes for Skjei ,he has a controllable contract just dos'nt do well with team dynamics .
Krieds Asking price is #1 pick +NHL talent ready + lower pick or prospect player +supplemental #1 IF he signs long term ,I dont see teams matching that .
I hope HANK is wanted in the league , he deserves a run hopefully out west so as not to have to match up when we make P O's .....EAT IT BURKIE

Can’t see the rangers making a trade with the way the team keeps winning. If they do trade Kreider it’s not a hockey move it will be a cap move. They taken us on a fun ride lately and it’s going to make for a interesting 20 or so games from here till the end of the season

McKenzie clarified in between periods that the rags wanted a 1st, prospect, another prospect or pick, and a conditional pick if ck20 resigns. That would be a good haul but i think they get 3 of those things.
