I don't expect much heading into this first round versus the last few years. I'm not even all that excited. Mostly curious. Todd's refusal to change and adjust cost him his job, and Hiller has been putting the lines in a blender since he took over. The last few games of the season were not promising. The Calgary and Ducks games were especially low effort performances, exactly what you don't want to see heading into the postseason. Reports have Hiller pairing Fiala/Lizotte/Lewis on a line which I don't get, and Byfield/PL/Gundstrom on a line which I do like (in theory).
I guess the story is the same for the Kings: try to contain everyone other than 97 and 29, and get to Skinner early.
