Cowan looks great in the OHL playoffs. People need to remember, it is Junior Hockey and that doesn't necessarily translate to the NHL game. He is small in stature, but has time to fill out. I'm hoping that the Leafs wait one more year to bring him to the big leagues. He'll get killed out there in NHL competition. Cowan needs to bulk up and decide whether he's a center or a winger. He played both, last night.

Quenville should never be an option

He and the rest of the Chicago management team should be done for good

Easton Cowan is the dealiio

Lots of changes to come
Keef out
Marner gone
Berube in
And sign Montour
Re sign Jones
I could live with a Jones Woll combo

I can't imagine the Leafs even entertain the idea of him playing in the NHL next year. Let the kid come to camp, play in the preseason, but that's it. He need to bulk up for sure. Dubas' kind of player.

He's gained at least an inch and added about 15 pounds since he was drafted. He theoretically weighs more than Marner. That said, he should be left alone to grow and develop. There's no reason to rush him.

If he is ready he is ready.

Dallas is happy with their choice of Johnston making the team at the same age and similar draft position.

No need to be close minded here and decisive without any of the facts, let the kid decide based on his play.

Canada was up 6-1 in the 3rd to Austria

It’s 6-6 lol

Binnington got destroyed

Tavares scores in OT. 7-6.

Just avoided being on the other end of the best comeback in world championship history.

hes almost 19. If he makes the team, he plays. Hes bigger than Marner and is a farm kid.

6'3" Korshkov is far more suited for the NHL game than 5'8" DeBrincat.

apparently JT needed to start more OT's. WIn draw. Get the puck back. Dance through neutral zone. Goal. Leadership

Sometimes folks get fooled by very young looking faces and maybe don't recognize the hardness of a developing kid.

Bedard is a prime example. He looks like he is still a few years away from shaving. Yet he seems to handle the traffic in front of the net really well.

Cowan is the same weight as Connor Bedard at 185 lbs. Cowan at 5' 11" is an inch taller than Bedard.

A lot of the talking heads (ex players) think he’s on the roster next year, they think he’s that good, so we’ll see.

Honestly who in the bottom 6 is worth keeping on the roster over Cowan who can grow into the game at 10-12 minutes a night on an ELC?

It has nothing to do with the Leafs’ bottom 6, and everything to do with what’s best for his long term development.

I don’t watch junior hockey so I don’t have an opinion on if this kid should be on the Leafs or the Marlies next year, but I would have no problem if they decide to send him to the AHL and give him 18 minutes a night, with PP1 time.

So what happens if Boston comes back from 3-1 and beats Florida?

Besides me saying the NHL playoffs are fixed, of course.
