Berggren breaks out this year. Very excited to see him in training camp. Detroit is excellent, top tier at developing players. Future is looking very bright in Michigan.
Surprised to see Tarasenko sign. Happy to see Fabbri gone. Tarasenko will have a great impact and influence on the roster with his winning pedigree.

Gonna be interesting to see what happens w/Johnny Bergers, his defense is suspect at best. Based upon The Captain’s stated desire to enhance our porous defense, I’m not holding my breath and would’t be surprised to see him as part of a trade, he needs to be on a line w/guys who can cover for him. Unless he’s worked on defending. Again, we can’t out-score a bad defense.

Interesting to see how MBN progresses playing on the same team as ASP. REALLY wanna see ASP on NA ice…. He’s identifying areas he needs help with, will hopefully have guys like Kronner & The Perfect Human to guide his development…. Good things on the horizon, but defending, & guys capable of it, need to be a major focus. Talbot & Lyon are going to be interesting. Time to jettison Husso?

On another note:

Wishing you all a safe 4th!!!

Don’t know if they’re working on anything, but sometimes those deals come out of nowhere. Agreed on ASP but glad Nygard and he touched base. Looking forward to tomorrow’s scrimmage. Yzerman mentioned Husso’s health again but clarified he seems good and on track. There seems to be a question mark. It’s lyon’s last sub 1 mil year. If he’s anything close to last year he could get a nice bump. It seemed like there is still some apprehension about injury.
