Solid fun read.

Another plus factor is having pascal Vincent around to help the team understand Laine

He’ll thrive.

He’ll get a standing ovation in his first game and hit the ground running from there

I honestly have no idea.

He says it will fuel him. You can always point to his years in Winnipeg where hockey is more important than Columbus to think that's true.

But there are also reports of him being very hard on himself at times when things go badly... If that's the case, he might have a hard time if things don't get going right out of the gate.

Overall, I think if he remains healthy, he'll be very good.

lol, I think he'll clearly be motivated when things are going well, it's when he'll go through an offensive drought that I'm wondering how he'll deal with the situation. hopefully he got the answers to that during his stay in the players assistance program..

that is also my main concern, but I think this is where having a coach like St-Louis should help tremendously.

you could also argue that he'll be in a more positive environment in the locker room in MTL than what he had in WPG and CLB.

If he plays with Dach and slumps, play him with the hardest working player on he team, Suzuki.

He might not hit 82 points but I’m quite sure he gets 60 +

if everyone stays healthy St-Louis is gonna have the luxury of mixing things up for sure.

I'm aware Laine wasn't brought in for his defensive capabilities but one thing he should consider is that hard work always pays off, so if he's pointless during a few games but backchecks when needed and works hard in the corners, fans and teammates will still appreciate him.
