I thought it would cost SJ the Vegas 1st and a 3rd. After looking at all the other pieces in the trade, it looks like SJ did better than that!

Great trade for SJ. With all the assets they had, this was a solid pickup. SJ is on a good path. No where close to contending but watch them develop over the next 5 years will be fun.

SJ is doing this right. No guarantees but their fans should be very excited for the future.

Maybe. That's a lot of optimistic projection.

After having William Eklund in 21 ------ took William Smith 4th overall last year, sjs add Mack Celebrini, Sam Richardinson, and now Yaroslav Askarov this summer, Mike Grier doing a great rebuild

eventually...San Jose will compete...maybe.....at least 4/5 years away though....so who knows is Askarov will be able to remain healthy...tough position

Max patches needs to sign with a team for the next few seasons so he can hit 1000 games played and also 700 points currently at 902 gp and 668 points. He’s 35. Never really liked him as a player. Never really saw him play ever

Seems a little early in the rebuild for adding a goalie. Kinda like adding the franchise qb before the offensive line, but, he was there for the taking and they got him. Nashville adds another trade deadline 1st to their all in coffer. Should be interesting!
