This guy is a true bruin. Unreal how at his size he controls the puck and wins most puck battles. Perfect captain hard working , fierce competitor, unselfish player. He is right at the top of best bruin left-wingers of all time. Will be in HOF. Just hope he gets the second Cup that Bergy didn’t get.

I am willing to bet you're right about the 8 x 8 deal. I'm thinking he will probably get just north of 8 and something like this for protections.

I'm perfectly fine with it. He's 25-26? Not even in his prime and has shown what he is capable of. Let Shesterkin pork the Rangers for a god awful contract, combine that with cap rising it will be a bargain.

I also don't give 2 poops if he makes more than McAvoy(which seems to be the team's issue). Unfortunately McAvoy is not what we all thought and hoped. Absolutely a top pairing or top 4 D. He is not and never will be a true #1D or a Norris winner.
