A very interesting question: Will the CBJ apply for a wavier to be under the salary cap this year? Can they get one?
I hate to bring up business before the funeral, or even the beginning of camp, but this is an issue to many. I would like to find that the NHL is not going to make them sign some guy whose sell by date has passed for $2 million + to get them at the cap.
It stinks this happened, but it is a chance for young players to step up under awful circumstances and earn a spot on the team.

Agreed, it's been a murky subject, the body isn't even buried and I've seen these articles that I find in poor taste explaining how their team can take advantage of the circumstances that plague the CBJ.
