Why would you feel bad for Pachal? He's going to be on the team and get every opportunity to stick in the lineup. Barrie and Pachal are both better than Bean and Hanley.

There's no downside to keeping Barrie. If it doesn't work out, he can eat popcorn like he did last year. If he looks like a competent player, the Flames basically bought a draft pick. He's not taking anyone's spot that deserves it. Also, injuries.
