Curious how they do against a real goalie!

Great write up. I have to agree, these Flames seem tighter than any bunch from the past. Don’t get me wrong there have been a lot of camaraderie with former teams, but the makeup of this roster seems legit. Maybe it’s because there seems to be players from the Wranglers that have graduated to the Flames and they’re so happy to see more teamates play there. Maybe it’s all the turnover this past year? Could it be that Connie shipped out all the moody entitled players? I don’t know but it’s pretty awesome team to watch.

I think that the outpouring of love during the Gaudreau tragedy has had a ripple effect on the organization and players going into this season. Especially with how they approach things.

Wonder which of the traded vets were the cancer in the room ?

Just love to see the young guys getting shots and playing with heart and good on the vets to get on board as well, too good to be bottom 5 but possibly good enough to get in and surprise? Time will tell, and wow both goalies are playing as a great tandem.

Possibly. But I think it’s more than just that. There’s been a lot of turnover on the roster since Johnny played here.

Everyone (fans and pundits alike) wrote this team off. Also, in the recent past, most of the players were written off by there former franchise in one way or another. The fact that they have something to prove has created a team identity for the group to rally around.

I'm not sure how it will last, but it's fun to watch.

The season is 4 games old. That's the reason, that's the entirety of the reason.

Edmonton wins a game, and the trolls suddenly find their confidence. All the complaining from their fanbase about unfair reffing and then crickets after McDavid blatantly trips a player in overtime to give himself a breakaway so they can finally win a game.

Of course it's just four games you moron. No one here thinks it's sustainable.

Now get me a Sandwich.

Sure, but seeing that memorial by the fans outside the rink had an impact on me as a person. I can only imagine how inspiring it would be for the players that play there. Just an opinion. I still hope we pound you guys the rest of the way.
