That's a fair assessment. Bouchard losing awareness of Marchment was bad. But he was he was not the only problem in that goal happening.

Bouchard turned 25 today. MANY years left to determine his career. Wouldn't expect him to be better than a HOFer like Keith. Seabrook did not have good longevity. He was one of the league's worst contracts by age 32 and LTIRetired at 34 so a better career than Seabrook is a real possibility.

Yipes...gonna be some growing pains there lol as we know with Stecher and Dermott.

Bouchard is what he is. Q Hughes got his defensive game in order after awhile maybe Bouchard will follow the same path. Many years to go.

He'll be ok. Oilers however swapped out 5 or so forwards without really addressing the D on who they lost there. Gonna be some issues lol.
