The recent run of losses is partly due to the captain sitting in the press box recovering from surgery. Last night's loss is a tough one to take, and maybe it shows what the big hole is on the team, and how big a hole it really is.
Many CBJ fans are happy at the progress this team has made so far this year, though it is now sliding into oblivion and will be at the bottom of the standings in a week or so.
But CBJ fans can only dream about what this team would be with a healthy Boone Jenner and Johnny Hockey playing on it. My guess is that it would be at least ten points better than it is now.
