Bruins are in a free fall right now and all of a sudden, 2 WC spots could be available.

I am still adamant about keeping the status quo by being definite sellers at or near the TDL. If we get in, great. It’ll give the young guys some value experience. If not, no worries because our draft should be a little better.

Yeah I agree. Honestly Beau, Hayes, DOC or Ned at goalie really wont move the needle. Especially with potential younger talent coming up. I know Pettersson would be a loss, but honestly he could potentially bring a huge return and potentially much like last year with the Guentzel trade potential players who could this team in the future. I think they are thinking POJ, Grzelcyk, and Pickering will be our LHD. Which they all have been playing good.

Dubas could also do a hybrid type of trading where maybe he sells off Beau, Hayes, DOC and Ned. Retains cap for a separate deal for picks/prospects and then trades some of what he received in separate deals for a younger or multiple younger change of scenery players like he did with Tomasino.

I think the whole bottom 6 except Lizotte should be traded, as well as glass when Geno returns. Nothing to do with performance or lack there of. Those are the 2 bottom 6 centres and the rest of the spots go to the kids. Lizotte can run a 4th line of bangers and Glass can have a more skilled set of linemates like ponaromov etc.

I'd be ok with that. Don't even need to keep Glass.

I'd assume Hayes stays and that there won't be any takers for Puljujarvi unless he really improves his stock. Acciari I think will be here too because of term. Nieto I'd love to punt somewhere but IDK if anyone wants him. I'd personally be fine keeping DOC if he isn't getting a good return, but writing is on the wall there.

So I'm not sure how many spots will actually be open. McGroarty, Broz, Koivunen (and for me Poulin) could all come up. Bennstrom is a possibility if they need another since he's been WBS's actual top player, though he feels redundant. Ponomarov probably gets a look too, I'm just not as high on him.

Yeah and we’ve already seen what Benstrom has to offer. That lineup works for me:

Koivunen - Hayes- ponomarov
Mcgroats - Lizotte - broz

Broz and mcgroats I’m pretty sure have been playing together anyways. An experienced centre to help them adjust. Obviously we don’t have much talent to work with but I’d rather them play than these bums we have now.

Hmmm interesting. I'd have to think on lines. I'd like to keep Broz at C. Almost have to put McGroarty or Koivunen on the second line to avoid an all rookie line. Plus who knows who we have left to play there if Bunting and/or Rackell get traded along with DOC and Beau. Could be Puljujarvi's big chance lol. Outside of Malkin anyone in the middle six could be gone.

Taking a shot. I got a feeling Bunting is traded.

Rackell-Sid-Rust
McGroarty/Koivunen-Malkin-Puljujarvi/Bennstrom
Hayes-Broz-Koivunen/McGroarty
Poulin-Lizotte-Glass/Acciari
(can't decide Acciari/Glass who is most likely to go)

Pickering-Letang
POJ-Karlsson
Graves-Shea

Jarry-Ned (no takers)

TIOPS is saying David Quinn wants Hayes as the 3rd line center. He believes he is better at the center spot because he isn't as quick off the boards to play wing.

Watching tanner howe tonight and he is a little bulldog. Shoots, hits, fast, definitely stands out. Although you would hope since half these kids will never sniff a draft.

He just took out 3 kids with one hit haha. Not sure if that counts as 1 or 3 hits but he has to be close to double digits by my count half way through the 2nd.

So there was one player on the hitmen stood out far and beyond anyone else in every aspect on the ice. Looked him up, Oliver tulk. After tonight’s 2 goals and an assist he is the league leader in points. 1 more than McKenna, although 7 less games. Tulk is 2 years older though. Surprised this kid wasn’t drafted. Howe looked good, but tulk looked like he was in a different league even than Howe.

WBS game looks like it was a fun time. 6-1 win. Blomqvist with 39 saves. 3 fights. McGroarty getting primary assists at ES, PP, and SH.
