Oil are already paying Nurse more than Makar (and Bouch the same in your proposed scenario), Drai will be making a couple more than MacKinnon, McD will then make even more the year following (but currently the same).......so probably something Oil management will take a swing at.

Bouchard 9 mil is on the high side? Id say that might be low side. With the cap increase and all.

Idk…if he’s told he’s not good enough to make more than $9M aav Bouch may not disagree. After all, even he doesn’t like to “defend”

as long as Nurse is an Oiler, Bouchard will get more than what Nurse is getting paid.. If the Oilers manage to move Nurse before signing Bouchard, then maybe, just maybe, the Oilers can sign Bouchard for less than $9.5M
