Carter Hart was the next Carrey Price

The only reason Errson is on team sweden is due to injury -- its not like his play elevated him to the team it was necessity

I was just going to say that. Ha Ha. A few weeks ago Ek was calling Kolosov the second coming of Bobrovsky. Ek's a Flyers' fan and a goalie. He can't help himself.

Sounds like Risto and Poehling back at Flyers practice. Would be nice to go on a little run here during the stretch drive. Carry some positive momentum into the offseason and next season.

eh, I do think Sam needs to show over a period of time he is a #1, but he is play as of late, has been very good. Mixed emotions there, I want him to play well and be a #1 but want a top 5 pick. The Flyers need all out effort to stay in games, the rest during the break might actually help their play but hurt their future.

I use to want the Flyers to fall in the standings but knowing they will go off the board and overdraft someone, what’s the difference.

Risto has been healthy and could have played the 4 Nations, but the Flyers held him out because they did not want to risk getting him hurt again. All signs point to Risto being traded by the deadline. I can only hope Laughton goes as well. Its time to maximize the Flyers draft capital.

Well documented that he was healthy enough to play and the Flyers held him out of the 4 nations?

Lucky for them I don’t think it’s going to hurt them this year. Outside of the top two picks, this draft is going to be all over the place.

I was extremely skeptical of the Luschanko pick when it was made, but he is proving himself in this context...
The best pick there was Bium, but they took a player based on need, no matter how they couch it to reporters. Not a fan of that when drafting for a team with multiple needs but their prospect pool is desperately lacking in centers, at least ones with size to go along with skill.
That said, Jett has done well for himself. He has benefitted from the extra effort the Flyers made with him. It may have been undeserved given his projected draft position, but he is still benefitting nonetheless. He could turn into what they're hoping for. Of course, he's still a prospect, and there is time for it to go either way. But he has a good chance. That's all you can say about any of these 18 year olds, even the ones who are projected to be NHL top line players.

For someone that supposedly makes stuff up I'm right an awful lot. Risto was practicing and skating with the team and it was expected that he would play in the last Flyers game before the 4 nations break. He was held out. My only point is I think this is a good thing, because it points to the Flyers protecting their asset for a deadline deal.

will not be participating for Finland at the 4 Nations Face-Off as he continues to recover from an upper-body injury.

Agreed nobody says that, but apparently rumor has it that Vegas defenseman Alex Pietrangelo was told not to play and heal up.
Eventhough he was playing 24 min a night right up till the break.

So I wouldn't put it pass a team to hold a player out for injury or say it's because of injury and trade him within days later.

But that's all rumor and speculation.

But if I was the gm I most certainly would hold out any player I intend to trade . And if i would im under the belief that a gm who gets paid to think team first would as well.

Like wouldn't you if u the gm

If they’re able to trade him without much retained, it’s a major win. If we also say get a pick or prospect, it’d be epic. Maybe the fact that he was selected for Finland will boost his value a bit. He’s played a lot better the last two years, but he’s grossly overpaid.
