What a game that was last night! Congrats to the Canadian team but that USA team was right there and had a hell of a tournament.

Fox has to either get surgery or work on skating all offseason. He shouldn’t be that slow

Ekblad would make us worse

Lindgren is the problem

How many times are we gonna do this

That’s where you lowered my IQ. Eklbald isn’t good anymore. He’s a bottom pair dman on Florida

That’s too much and creates a gaping hole at RD and on the pp. where does our offense on the backend come from

Sort of my point. If you move him you are fixing one hole and creating another. These types of trades are near impossible to win

Lindgren wasn’t Fox’s partner in the tourney. Fox is slow, undersized and not physical. Launch him to the moon and get the best return you can.

Graphs

This isn’t meant to start anything, but if you don’t trade Fox they should trade Schneider for Lindgrens replacement, OR move Schneider to 1LHD. Because Borgen is obviously here to stay, so your undervaluing Schneider in this case because he’ll never play as much as he should being on the 3rd pair. Youd like to have 2 solid pairs instead of loading up one side better then the other like we are doing now

Fox was fine in the tournament. Definitely didn’t stand out positively which comes off like a negative when you’re playing with those types of players. And yes, he’s always been super slow. Put him with a good partner and he’ll be worth every penny and then some. Look at his career

Listen we’ll be arguing this till the cows come home, but the short sightedness (is that a word?) is what gets me, and him probably. You’re not looking 2-3 years from now. You’re so focused on Lindgren being the issue, and yes it’s probably true, but Fox is declining already and the contract is tradable now is the point if it all. Clauses and then the player declines more and then youre stuck with him.

Zib is going through this exact same thing right now. 2-3 years ago we wouldn’t have dreamed of trading him

Is this (frank)ing guy scratching Kaliyev again? JBrod is the 3C. Idk if it’ll change, but I don’t get it. Kaliyev can score in the NHL, it’s obvious

Fortesque and Emery pair would be a huge lift for the NYR org.

That’s what they need, they need more kids to blossom. Is Lavy getting the best out of these kids? You have to ask yourself

You see what Dury is doing tho, drafting/developing bigger players. Faster youd hope, but size you can see the conscious effort to get bigger

Look at the chart and see where Fox is and then look at where his partner is

Idk what a chart says. I care what I see night in and night out. That tourney just amplified it. That tourney was played like a playoff series, hard, physical, fast. Fox couldn’t keep up which is what we’ve seen when that style of play is played.

They literally said one of canaduh’s game plans was to target and pick on Fox.

I just love when people say Fox is a bum but trade him for a haul.

He’s having down season but still very good dman. He’s gotta shoot more and fix his skating.

Looking avg in a 4 game sample against the best players in the world will happen

Should they now trade Hughes Connor matthews for having a rough go?

Anyone should be on the table in the right trade I just think a lot of over reactions.right now. Guy has been great to elite for 3 years. Will see what durry does

Zibs decline seems to be from age. Similar to Richards. It’s been somewhat gradual from beginning of last year
