Husso had negative value. It would have probably taken a 3rd or 2nd round pick attached to get rid of him.

He went for Future considerations though. So it’s the Ducks that must have asked for him and his 5M$ salary. Two reasons : there’s a goalie on his way out and/or a player with a big salary on his way out (cap floor).

Either way, the Wings are probably up to nothing. The Ducks are probably up to something big. But nice try!

Finally glad to get him out of the picture in Detroit. I wish him well... but very happy to dump his salary. He was a spare sub-par goalie and not needed. Maybe a change of scenery will help him.

I don't want to blame the victim, but why does it seem like a 6'7 240lb player is just getting murdered (illegally) by every 5'10 skill player in the NHL?

Both goalies for the Gulls are out with week-to-week injuries and with Gibson dinged up, Calle Clang was called up to Anaheim leaving a Tulsa Oilers goalie as the only one left in San Diego. Husso will fill in for the Gulls to hopefully keep them in the playoff picture.
