Clown take from a clown writer, who probably also deleted the prior 2 comments here completely disagreeing with his clown take.

Yeah this guy is a very annoying blogger. Pretty much every blog for the last few months has been the exact same blog. "Wah pens need to lose so we get a good pick, but we need crosby to get points for a record and that's the only thing we care about this year"

He's kind of meh. Bad turnover aside lol, Timmins was a sneaky good pickup.

Graves looked like he was playing for the draft pick on that one.

Rakell is so damn noticeable as a center. He’s had a terrific game.

Honestly I thought being late stage red wings would be worse than this. The past three or four years have been frustrating as hell but this year where I expected nothing, I’ve actually had some fun watching some individual guys play great

Good for McG. Didn't think he was having a great game. He needs to get stronger in the off-season. Not that great of a skater but I do think he has pretty good skills. Maybe he can develop into a net front guy.

He is a net front guy. If he can’t do that at this level he won’t make it.

The ref got the memo about us wanting to move up in the draft.

I'd like him as a fourth liner. How Sully is using him not so much. Plus we have plenty of 4th liners signed for next year. So wouldn't mind if they let him go. But would like it more if they let someone else like Heinen or Accairi go instead.

Agree with Mike though, Timmons has been a very nice pick up. Would like to see him return.

Bottom 6 and LD need a massive garage sale.

He's a big kid, but he doesn't have his grown man strength yet. That should come in time. He's not exactly allergic to contact, just doesn't have the effect you'd want from a guy that size yet.

I don't know if he'll be a PF in the mold someone like Grinder47 would like. But he should be a nice 2 way player that rounds out a top 6 line.

The play on the Rust goal where he played the high man well and was able to turn it into offense is indicative of how I see him playing. He won't be the star, but he'll do the grunt work for a couple more skilled players, and has good enough hands to finish the chances he gets.

Ugh agree. Not much I'd really want to keep. Tomasino, Lizotte, I guess Novak. Maybe Dewar if they stop thinking he's a middle six. Don't mind Shea as a #7.

Well per you he’s an RFA. I’m quite interested in what kind of a contract we give him. If we give him the Ruhwedel that’s a lot of value

I think I’m one of the few that still thinks Dubas is smart and probably sees all this. If Dubas’ intent is to try to put a contender together this offseason I expect a lot of these spare parts to get jettisoned

I do think he will move some, just not sure which. Not the big ones like Jarry or Graves. But guys like Hayes, Accairi, and Heinen can be moved with an affordable pick.

Don’t be shocked if they get moved for a pick. Cap going up and those deals won’t look THAT bad.

They are both arbitration eligible RFAs making a little over 1M, so it would cost a little more, say 1.25 to 1.3M just to retain. Dewar I could go either way. They'd get younger and hungrier, but not sure you get much more than Koppanen or Poulin for 500k less and maybe more if he gets a better ruling.

Timmons though I'd keep because he looks like a guy you can bump up a bit when needed behind Letang and EK. Then again, St. Ivany is out of options and brings another element and Brunicke is coming at some point. Still, seems to solid to just let walk.
