Leave overtime. It has a big toll on fatigue. But its part of the strategy. If anything i think the first.round should be 5 games. It will cause more upsets. And create more intriguing situations. Just having the idea that anyone can win. It just a smaller sample size that can make fans beleave in thier teams more. |

No change, you have to earn the win playing the rules that got you to OT ... 5 skaters vs 5 skaters plus goalies... it's the ultimate endurance test keep it that way.
If it is 'too hard' for some teams ... well they can take few days off after they are eliminated before hitting the golf course. |

The only way that even makes sense is if every team plays each other the same amount of times....which for logistical purposes like scheduling and travel is never going to happen. The only argument for change that I might get onboard with is a 5 game series in the 1st round. |
