Bryz gave up 6 goals in a exhibition game in the middle of the summer? We're screwed.
Anyone think that the the Flyers will be inviting a veteran free agent or two to camp, a la Blair Betts & Bill Guerin? - Jsaquella
Are you kidding me? We have Leighton as a back up! No way we are screwed.... oh wait |

I think there's a pretty good chance that Mike Knuble gets a tryout invite if he doesn't get a contract offer elsewhere before camp.

Well...he is a RW, like Jagr...and he is 40, like Jagr...but is there any gas left in the tank? Don't get me wrong, I hated to see him go but there is probably a reason the Caps have passed thus far. What do you think he might cost, Bill? |

I'd have to think that he would be willing to play for around 1M.

Probably an incentive laden one year deal for around $1mm or so. I'd assume they'd be looking at him as a 3rd liner with some size and maybe a part time PP piece. |

Wasn't he too slow 4 years ago?
I'd pass.
As much as we want to "fantasy" wheel and deal here, we have a great team. I'd rather sign Arnott if we're going big and slow. |

J-Bo and this charity game.
Nice to see the players give back. |

Really?
it was an exhibition game.....much like an all star game they are there going through the motions, and just having a good time. I seriously hope you don't think that him playing in this game is any indication on how he will be during the season. |

You do realize that "fantasy" wheeling and dealing is sort of the purpose of a hockey trade rumor website, right? Or should off season discussion be limited to the Corsi ratings of various members of the Phantoms? |

sorry...from my experience sarcasm comes from your delivery of tone and wording...not the wit of your fingertips |

And I am sort of saying I'll pass. Great guy but I don't see the benefit for our team. He's not a checker, he is slow, and on a second PP unit I would take Simmonds.

It would have sold out if Coots was there to b-slap Malkin. |

That's fine, but I have seen you rip people on here before for discussing "fantasy trades", which seems kind of dumb considering the website is built on trade rumors. |

Bryz giving up 6 goals is almost as telling as Radulov scoring 4. Radulov is surely the next NHL MVP...
Wait, he isnt playing in the NHL? |

I think discussing realistic scenarios is cool.
I find it hard to believe that I would rip anyone. A gentleman, such as myself, would not do such things.
I do find some comments a little over the top, such as any "trade" or "signing" similar to what a Leaf fan would suggest (e.g. Kadri for Crosby). |
