Yeah, there seems to be a lack of creativity from the tenders. There were a lot of goalies from the 70-80's who had plain white masks too...wasnt too much to choose from.

this was explained in the second paragraph of the blog....

As expressed, there are simply too many goalies to write about for each respective team, so there will be some criteria followed for a goalie to make the list. Each goalie included under the “Past Goalies” category must have played at least three seasons with the team, and must have also had an interesting or unique mask.

Oh ok wasnt sure as I did have several people ask why certain goalies were not part of previous lists.

Does seem odd...but its a long lasting tradition for their goaltenders, so I guess it could have to do with that?

I'd personally go with the logo as the main piece if I was a bruin. On a side note if I was a Saber I would go with Sabers. Since you know they aren't the Buffalo buffalos.
