My 5yr ask me last night " Daddy When do the Flyers start playing again "??
I said "well it might be awhile " and he said " That makes me sad - I want to see them beat up the Pens " LMAO

The league really overstepped with threatening Flyers management if they participated in Hartsy's charity event. What a bunch of PR idiots. |

I share in that thought. How ridiculous. But probably some legal mumbo jumbo involved. |

@BizNasty2point0 Fans. The players understand your frustration. But at the end of the day we are fighting for our futures, not yours. That's the reality. |

charity events should be off limits as far as squabbling goes. It's charity its not for the player's benefit or the league's. Kinda like a divorced couple arguing over who goes to the kids little league games. |

I just don't blame the players in this. The league came out with this hardline stance from the jump. The players are the asset not employees. Perhaps they need to rescind more to the owners in terms of the profit sharing, but this is the contract we lost a season a few years back. Furthermore I'll just reiterate what I said the other day, the players were willing to burn the midnight oil on saturday, the owners blew them off. For that I say the hell with them. I'll just watch the other leagues until these greedy lying owners budge (frank) them! I hope every player finds a job playing in another league while these wieners squirm under the financial pressure of having to pay bonuses and what not that THEY AGREED to pay WITHOUT COERCION! end rant have a good day! |

I'd assume that if the players were willing to make some sort of shift from their first offer, maybe they'd have talked in person. While not much, and maybe a joke, at least the league changed their original offer from 43% to 46% and redefined HRR back to what it was. I'm unaware of a 2nd offer from the players. So, while both sides are to blame yada yada... what good is it to get together if nothing will change? |

1. 2 for 1 luxury tax for teams over the current cap.
2. Lower the floor 15-20 million so teams aren't over paying to field rosters.
Can we start playing hockey now you idiots?
