I know that fans will come back, but I think they will be less forgiving this time than last. (although apparently the Flyers have only had 12 STH cancel so far which amazes me)

Okay so my 5 minute plan isn't working so good I'll only know a couple words, one is No and шайба. Maybe with some more practice even a training camp I'll get it down.

I think the space diving thing inspired Ilya today.

Strong game for Bryzgalov today. He wasn't perfect but he came up big whenever he really needed to today's 4-1 win for CSKA. He had his share of tough stops among the 30 saves he made. There were some junctures where the team in front of him had some breakdowns and he did what the club needed from him.

the strike will not affect markets such as Philly...as this stretches out, it will affect the smaller markets. This is where the owners should worry. as for the players, there will always be someone else in line to take your job, so when hockey comes back...the owners will be able to field a team regardless of the talent.

I'd be surprised if that number of 12 is accurate. That's probably cancellations once the lockout started. I'm sure there were non-renewals because of the lockout.

I didn't renew but it had nothing to do with the lockout but time, cost and seat location in that order.

The smaller markets are rejoicing. If you owned Columbus and were hemorrhaging 25 million a season, a cancelled season saves you all that money. It's the teams in the middle who are actually working hard to turn a red ink ledger into a profit that are getting antsy. Teams like St. Louis, Carolina and Buffalo.

Problem is they've done nothing to deserve them.

They advised him to keep it dry to avoid infection so he's trying to keep it out of his mouth this season.

I still can't fathom how hard this must be hitting Nashville. They had to fork over all that money to Weber to match (in the form of guaranteed signing bonus already paid out)the Flyers offer and now they are losing money with no preseason or Reg season games? Sure they save on paying out salary but if the fans in Nashville don't come back, it's gonna hurt. I don't care how rich their owner is.
