A 1.93 save percentage is impossible. Typo?

No, it isn't. GAA is based on the amount of time a goalie is in the net. Gibson has been on for 218:07, which is about 22 minutes short of four full games.

Yes it is. You can't have more saves than there were shots, which is what a 1.93 save % implies.

Yep. He's been Canada's next-best D man after Rielly.

You mentioned Gally, and yaks as impressive Russians. While opinions vary, I think that Kucherov has been better then both in this tourny so far.

I'm glad we drafted Yakupov, he will be awesome on a line with Gagner and Hemsky in his first season.

I haven't been overly impressed with Canada's d so far. Yes they have moved the puck well, but IMO they struggled against the Americans all game in their own end and up until the Droulin goal against the Russians. Subbs really stood tall for Canada. I was are skeptical about him being the starter but he. Has shown why he is in there over the last 2 games. Trouba has been the best d in the tourny by a country mile Imo.

Nope, that shot against the Russians was awesome. Always takes the big guys longer to put it all together. He will be the best NHL player from the team, with nuge being 2nd.

His play is more suited for north American ice rink IMO.

I dunno why you gave up on yakopov already. Next year you will see. He never plays well in internatiobal tournaments but last year 9 assists is good. You have to look at his ohl points and he was compared to stamkos points wise. If hes hdlf the player stamkos is will be a great pick. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=pLnFHYJAAHo. Please stop with your trade yakopov or we shoulda drafted this guy etc

There's a difference between giving up on a guy and suggesting you move him to acquire a high-end player who would fill a roster need. Oilers have two solid Top 6 RW's in Eberle and Hemsky. Tobias Rieder could turn into another Hemsky in a few years. And it's not as if Hemsky is old about to retire right away.

Edmonton's depth on the RW might be the only position they have an abundance of. We know the D need to be better, and we know the forward group is too small physically, especially at center.

Creating a winning hockey team is all about asset management and organizational depth. In suggesting Yakupov could be turned into something else, I'm not at all suggesting he's a bad player. He's a great player. We just need other things more.

Hamilton will not become a better NHL'er than Nuge. Heck, Hamilton won't even turn out to be the best NHL defenseman in the group. Rielly easily wins that honor.
