Drew Shore I think will also be one he has been doing very well in the AHL on a very bad team.

I watched him at camp Monday, frankly I could not help it, he stood out that much. He is ready, but they may decide to keep seasoning him as the Panthers are REALLY not rushing anyone along. All I can add is "wow" that kid is good.

Agreed, but the Panthers are deep at center and I don't see him making the team out of the gate this year, let alone having an impact like the others.

I think Krieder is going to be the guy to watch.

With goc injured he will most likely join the team to start. And I think he will end up making it very hard to want to send him back down.

Julie have you seen Tony Cameranesi play?
Apparently he is the youngest player (1993) in the top 20 scoring in the WHA and the only Freshman. Hes tied with the likes of Nick Bjugstad one of Floridas top prospects who is a JR and the 2nd youngest (1992).

I agree thou I am not sure what would be better for him play 3rd or 4th line in Florida. Or play 1st line in San Antonio. He should be in Florida next year for sure!

Bjugstad is going to be a beast for Florida.

dont forget Patrick Weircoch ...... this could be the year he makes the jump from the AHL. He's put on a bunch of muscle and looks like he's ready for some NHL time....

I like him and Gryba and I didn't include them because I couldn't decide which one to pick. Not sure there's room for both in Ottawa but injuries could provide opportunities.

Actually it's Conacher Lecavalier Purcell, I'll give you point for mentioning Cory.

I know the hype is big on him right now, but what he did in the AHL this season was truly unheard of. I hate Oiler posters, but this guy is the poop.

If you noticed....all players mentioned are still considered rookies and Butler has exhausted his rookie status.

C'mon Julie, where's the college hockey blog? Huge series this weekend between Minnesota and North Dakota. Last WCHA series match up for this long tenured bitter rivalry! Should be a fantastic series.
