What I saw Saturday I dont know. Hardly any offense which is nothing unusual. Grabner did look good. Nabby will have to stand on his head today if we are goign to win

So isles lose 2-1 vs a defensive trap minded team and you're throwing in the towel after 1 game Half the damn roster has been changed from last season..

Ok Captain if you think this team is playoff worthy or good then that is great. All I see is basically the same team from last year with a few AHL fill ins. It has not worked out for them in the past 5 years so yeah I have no confidence it will work out this year either

Exactly. I do beleive the Islanders core more when DP is net cause he gives up so many goals. With Nabby they feel if they can score at least two they have a great chance of at least getting a point.

Either that or the islanders are tight wad jackasses. I'll go with the latter.

I agree with you for once. There is no reason for him to own the team. I am hoping Ratner is going to tell him give me the team and you worry about the Nassau Collisieum

Isles will lose today, easily too.....

took a look at the next couple of games the isles have, hate to say it, but they can start off 0-8, and the pathetic part about it is, they will fire Cappy (which i dont care) but its not his fault (bc of lousy roster) and either appoint Weight or Thompson which neither is qualified....
