I love it possible BIG news in a week to 10 days. The only big news we want to hear is that Wang sold the team to Ratner, Prokhov (barlcays center developer,nets owner) or some other wealthy person that will invest $$ in the team and run them like a Pro franchise not a 3rd tier team on the cheap.

A real NHL player or 2 or 3 would be nice also. But snow doesn't like ot make deals unless it's for draft picks!

I would LOVE to say there is 0% chance. Reality is with Wang you never know he could be dealt.

Islanders and Wild trade talk? Could it surround a goaltender swap? Backstrom's slow start has vanished and he is now playing spectacular in the nets for Minnesota. Which goalie would Isles move? Also, EK had reported that Wild had interest in hometown kid, Kyle Okposo. Don't really see that happening, but one never knows.

Sure they do. O'Rielly isn;t that good..reinforced by the avs unwillingness to pay him like the player AV fans think his value is in trade.

It is one of those classic debates and it reminds me of the summer the Senators had to decide between Chara and Redden

Stole my thunder. They will announce they bought out the rest of the lease and move to Barclays beginning next season.

If Selanne retires that makes some room. They'll keep all three for sure.Getzlaf is the big center every team wants though. Scoring wingers are much more common. I say they won't resign selanne and keep Getz, Perry and Ryan.
If they're not signed by trade deadline they will be rentals. There is NO way they risk them walking away with no return after season

I think none of them will end up going anywhere the pricetag will be ridiculous for a rental. They will both resign before the deadline
