Not to overuse a phrase but this really does seem to be an important (statement?) game. Mentally worth a bit more than 2 points. I think/hope #93 and #17 will continue to play well and get to King Henry early. |

I think the new found depth even with Read out will help this team against the Rangers. (see Gagne)
We shall see and watch... |

I'm hoping that a Gagne - Couturier - Talbot line can shutdown whatever the Rangers' big line is tonight. |

Couts has been playing very well of late... I suspect he will start to put some offensive numbers soon as well. |

Right about Hank. I think we can win it with getting harts and simmonds in his grill. The pp is what has been driving me bonkers. Have to start capitalizing if we wanna go on a winning run here. - Hextall271
It's the case with any goalie, get traffic in his face and get him moving and you'll score goals.
Discipline will be important. |

Hard to shut down Nash when he gets a full head of steam. Best way to shut down that line is to just keep it deep in their zone and keep 3 men high. |

Next 3 games Rags, Pigeons, and Broons, 3 points would be acceptable, 4 would be better. |

Good to see Brad Richards in the lineup after that scary hit. Also, surprised to see Gaborik on the 3rd-ish line with Boyle and Miller. That whole 61-19-10 thing hasn't worked out at all. |

I think we'll see what this team really is after the next 3. If they at least make a game out of each one, regardless of the final score, then this team is playoff caliber. |

How will they overcome the loss of a player of Asham's talent? TRAP GAME for Flyers. |

They can't lose all 3 in regulation. That would put them behind the 8 ball. |

They could survive going 0-1-2 but going 0-3-0 would be a death sentence. I would be content with 1-1-1. |

Yup. 1-1-1 would be ok. 3 points. |
