Thoughts on Yan Pavel Laplante. Missed most of this year with the PEI Rockets with a shoulder injury sustained at last years U18 Tourney. Must not be so bad if they took him again.

Was pretty invisible to be honest. Was the fourth line center the majority of the tournament and didn't get special teams time. He's probably going to be a 5th round hail mary hoping that his poor year was all injury and that he will come back and show those scoring skills he displayed for Team Quebec a year ago.

Nice write up and evaluations Adam, I am most intrigued by Josh Morrissey, thought he had an excellent tourny.

He has a lot of upside Wish Barkov wasn't hurt, he could have done some serious damage with Kapanen and Lehktonen

Still think he is the fourth pick and will be a good fit with Nashville.

Sounds like he would be a solid pickup, I haven't watched him play at all yet though.

"He’s an emotional player that seems to play better when things get rough. I remember seeing the Top Prospects game and he got leveled by Ryan Hartman, two shifts later Dauphin was dominating"

So either he'll have a long and average career or a short yet impressive career, is that it?

Nice of you to join us French, did you want to try and toss together some kind of Hockeybuzz list of the top 30 for the draft?

Any suggestions for who on here keeps track of prospects?

Sure why not. I'm going to do my big ass list anyways when it gets closer.

As to people who keep track o' prospects, Todd Cordell does a whole lot on the OHL

i really think that prospect #178 should be ahead of #172 becasue you can clearly see on the league's site that he has one more assist this list is a fraud.

Some players that are still working otward the Mem Cup could have made a big impact at the U18's. Canada would have been amazing with McDavid, Mac and Drouin up front.

Exactly this is the chance for non-playoff players in the CHL to show what they have since the others through the means of having a good team with them can keep playing and showing their own skills.
