This Blues team is a GREAT team!

They've got 10 minutes to prove that. Thus far, I've seen a few times where they've put good pressure on, but no real "gotta win" play tonight - especially in this period.

You know how you've watched this team in years past and you see them down a goal and trying to get it back, and you just watch them struggle to do it and at some point you realize, "they're not going to do it?" Or how when the 3rd period starts, you can just tell early on "they're going to lose this game" no matter what the score is?

That's the feeling I have right now. It's like the Blues have no idea what they're supposed to do right now to generate offense, so they're just throwing the puck around and hoping it magically goes into the net - and the Kings are all too eager to play defense, take the puck, and go down the other way and keep it down in the Blues zone for a while and kill clock.

What a save by Elliott on Penner (I think it was Penner). That was a "OMG, I was scared that was going in" kind of shot.

8:00 into OT, there's Slava Voynov potting the game-winner.

5 hole was massive

Schwartz breaks his stick in front of the bench in frustration. He was the guy who was late on the backcheck, which is what had Voynov free. Would be really nice to see some of that passion in the rest of the team Friday night.

These games are going to give me a heart attack. These two teams are very evenly match, it's too bad they had to meet in the first round.

Shockingly no one is complaining about the blatant interference in OT against the Kings.
