GM's say a lot of things in front of the cameras. But don't be fooled, if he has a chance to fill a hole with an UFA, he will. Saying this, i mostly think the main target is Bickell, like Prust was last year.

Clarkson is such a hard case....love his style of play. Love his tenacity and love the fact he grew up close by...

What I hate is the fact that he's going to cost an arm and a leg to sign. Very good player - just not one I want signed for 5 million.

I think we make a pitch but I don't view him as someone we'll take a couple of runs at.
