Bill, big fan here--do you think the Flyers will still move Coburn if they can't move Mez? |
|
|
|
Hate the new Metropolitan division name. I think it's the hardest one out there. |

I think if they can't move Meszaros -- and I still they can and will by the end of the preseason, assuming he's healthy -- they would reluctantly trade Grossmann, assuming he's healthy (which I would be opposed to, but understand). The only way Coburn gets moved is if they get a satisfactory return.

I think it's a travesty. Olympic participation creates such a clusterseravalli of a schedule. To hell with the Olympics, go back to the World Cup |

I just think it's funny that 6 of the Metro division teams are closer to the Atlantic than 6 of the Atlantic teams. |

I love Olympic participation and hate the All Star Game. Start a week earlier and end a week later and there's no difficulty with the schedule. |

That would make too much sense, were talking about the NHL here |

It seems that our schedule is much more favorable than other teams for back to backs and 3 in 4s than it was last year. Do people agree? Also, id like to know how many times we play teams on the back end of their back2backs. Last year, it just seemed that we had a very difficult schedule in this regard. |

I still don't get how they play 8 games in 17 days right off the bat, then have a 6-day break. |

Not taking an Olympic break would be a lot of fun to watch in the NHL. To see a lot of younger guys get a crack at the big team would be fun for everyone. |

Yeah I always enjoy those. I'm willing to bet that of the many back to back games we have, we play the pens multiple times after we play the night before. |
