Why would an MSG financed arena be boycotted? Makes no sense. It would not cost the taxpayers a dime, unlike Wang's project, and it could bring some jobs or at least replace some lost by the Icelanders move. |

Well, Wang's "project" wouldn't have cost the taxpayers anything either, if Kate Murray and the TOH had approved zoning for the Lighthouse. The referrendum was Mangano's project, his attempt to save face and appear as if he was doing all he could to keep the Isles on Long Island. Mangano knew that arena was never getting approved. Even if it passed the vote, NIFA would never have approved of Nassau entering into such an expensive endeavor. |

one classic EPIC Fail on the part of Kate Murray and The newly elected Comptroller Maragos was the lost revenues of Playoff Hockey
All the comproller's rev assumption lost by isles leaving were calculated on the anemic attendance and revenues of isles during 2000-2011 seasons.
The Epic Fail was that each Islanders playoff game Brought $1,000,000 in Rev to county. OPPPS.
Tell me when isles are gone, and now that they are becoming more of a contender that Kate Murray and TOH going to replace that.
She should be fired. |

When you post a poll in an Islanders blog how can you say 49%
voting to boycott an MSG back arena is a lot?
If you posted the same poll in a Rangers blog I'm sure the results would be
totally different.
Get over it. The Islanders are leaving. Something needs to be done with the arena
and surrounding area. I'm sure the MSG group will do something top notch. |

Dolan is going to trade in NYC for Nassau, do the haters even think before writing this crap?
10 years is enough time to either pick another NYC location or Quinn's career to be over |

JT is known to have crazy work ethic. He is also known to push his teammates such as MM and Strome to their limit. So him working out with Kyle is actually very good for him. As for Richards He can't be worst than last year can he? BTW nice to hear KO is working hard in the offseason, this is what he needs to start out strong. |

They have not played together yet. How can he be pushing him to his limits. |
