The bruins just traded away a young center prospect better than Johansen for an immediate impact player, their window is NOW. As in, next two years until Chara is retired.
Even aside from that, Krejci is only just into his late 20's now, he's got a good decade of hockey left in him and there's been nothing to suggest Johansen will reach that same level.
The second deal has no legs at all.
