No need for illegal defense: both stretch passing/team speed and solid puck-moving dmen can best a trap team.

This is amazing.how does one top "the worst blog ever" with an even worse one just a few days later? I see little or no difference between the Avs and Oilers except that the Avs have a more interesting personality behind the bench. It's too bad Clouts didnt watch any non oiler Hockey , then he would perhaps know a little of what he was talking about.

In terms of sheer numbers, more people care about the Oilers than the Avs, but nothing about our rosters indicates that we're actually a more interesting team makeup.

Avs fans do like to brag that their three top 3 draft picks were spread out over 4 years as opposed to Edmonton's three straight (Bolts fans like to brag that they had a bit of a reprieve from top 3 picks as well) but they're pretty much the same in terms of depressing present, interesting future.

Seriously though, I have no freakin idea why you put the Blue Jackets that low, they got a pretty damn good team now..Gaborik, Horton, Bobrosvky, Ryan Murray, that Johnson guy, Anisimov..this team is going places..and it will be fun to watch.
