Unfortunately the Dolans run a monopoly, and air what they want where they want when they want to...I'm totally surprised that they didn't fight the Isles from playing in Brooklyn, just like the fought the Jets from playing in Manhattan....the Dolans care sort of about their brands and their brands only....

The Flyers are the worst in that regard. Ed Snider, started Comcast Spectacor MGMT which became SMG. Led Comcast as majority shareholder and chairman, started comcast sportcast sportsnet (including Philly Comcast), owns the Flyers, major financial player for Versus (now NBC Sports). So now, even if the Flyers play in Vancouver, it's blacked out on DirectV. Why? Because you have to buy Ed Sniders cable package, to watch his channel, to watch his team. Comcast Philly is one of the only channels for comcast sports not made available to competing television providers....
