My guess is at this moment that is probably true. However, I would bet that Homer has reached out to Morrow and maybe said if no one has signed you by day 1 we'll give you 'X' as Pronger will be eligable to go on LTIR.

Carolina has been rumored to be on him for the better part of the summer now. I think he'd be a great fit there.
